Playing Sports with Braces
We recommend that you protect your teeth during orthodontic treatment by wearing a mouthguard when participating in any contact sports. You can purchase mouthguards at our office that are designed to be worn with braces. Be warned, some mouthguards do not work well with braces, so consult us first!

Playing a Musical Instrument with Braces
For those of you in band, some instruments (most wind instruments) have an initial adjustment period while in orthodontic treatment.
Always exercise care with your braces, if you are worried about damaging them in a particular activity, ask us first!
